...and over in Italy, the wheel turns backwards

The progressive European Parliament is about to vote in a new commission and that includes a member fromt Italy with archaic views on sexual orientation and the role of women.



What is the point of having such a person on the European Union commission? Is he intending to be insulting to all the female commissioners? Is he intending to tell them to go home an have babies and be protected by their husbands when they expres opinions he does not like but cannot intelligently discuss?
