Who's Your Daddy? (Saturn in Libra for Aries)

The news is out that Saturn has ingressed the sign of Libra. We had a small taste of it for six months from the end of October 2009 until mid-April 2010. The sign of The Scales will be its temporary home for a 25 month journey.

We know it will affect people with Sun, Moon, Ascendant or Saturn in Libra very strongly and specifically in some area(s) of life. But what about people with Sun in Aries, the sign opposite Libra? Will they escape the maturing, structure-breaking and rebuilding lessons of Saturn? To answer that question with a question:

“Who’s your Daddy?”

Saturn. Saturn is your Daddy. In fact, Saturn is your Big Daddy.

Saturn will be dealing in great part with people who have Sun in Saturn, focusing shaping their identity, and with people who have Saturn in Libra, focusing on restructuring and balancing their relationships and partnerships in life. BUT, Saturn, like any parent with multiple children, will be hard at work teaching people with Sun in Aries about themselves.

When Saturn transits opposite your Sun, you are likely to find yourself disillusioned and disgusted with some aspect of your personality, with an important person in our life and/or authority figures, or with your personal plans and achievements. If you have not been managing your life effectively, the ego boosts that previously came your way are no longer forthcoming and confidence can be hard to find, which will be very frustrating for an Aries.

You may feel isolated socially. You must learn to rely on yourself and not resent it.

You may feel but more likely be blocked from advancing in the way you envisioned in your chosen career or life path. It is time to create and consider a Plan B and perhaps also a Plan C and trust that the benefits will one day be visible, even if it is several years later.

While Big Daddy Saturn in Libra opposes your Sun in Aries, ego boosts will not seem to be forthcoming, or if they are, you will likely not perceive them in that manner. You may be forced to tighten your financial, social or emotional belt, limiting your expression. Your physical energy is likely to be low. Even mechanical things around you (your car, your household appliances) may breakdown unexpectedly and more often than normal. Problems with skin, bones and teeth are likely to arise.

Your work income or business may be cut or disappear – or expenses may increase – and you must learn to make changes to adapt, whether it is to find a new source of (additional?) income, to make changes so as not to end up without enough savings for lean times, to change your loaning and borrowing practices or to learn to live on less and spend less.

If things or people leave your life, it is likely because the connection between you was weak, or they somehow no longer serve a healthy purpose in your life. Are you disgusted to the point of no wanting to associate anymore with your brother or your friend? Do you finally realize your marriage is a sham but you have been going through the motions? Now is the time to take slow, deliberate steps to deal with these relationships and make a decision, which could be to break ties. Taking a slow and steady approach to life is necessary now.

Big Daddy Saturn is expecting you to take the time to examine your previous commitments in relationships, work and other areas, to make improvements, to make hard but mature decisions and to be more efficient. It could mean big, significant changes or simply fine-tuning of processes you have already begun. Pushing too hard will likely lead to frustration and setbacks. You may feel drained, discourage and most commonly, depressed.

A word about depression: It is vital you take precautions to STAY AWAY FROM THE DARK SIDE!! There are so many things you can do: get an energy lamp and use it daily, start talking regularly with a coach or therapist, exercise at least 30 minutes per day (even if only a brisk walk), lower or eliminate your consumption of nicotine, alcohol, and drugs.

Aries is symbolized by The Ram and The Warrior. Aries people want to courageously take the lead and go head-first into challenges, pushing through solutions. But when Big Daddy Saturn is opposing your Sun sign it will hardly be possible to do so – and can at times be absolutely impossible. Saturn is one competitor you have no hope of defeating. You will recognize the wisdom, do the right thing and win OR fight, resist and do what you want to do and lose. The key is to remain in the reality of the situation or relationship, not attempt any shortcuts, and do the work. Do the right thing. Pay attention to the details, go slowly and accept that you cannot “beat” these lessons with sheer brute strength. You will end up bloodied and will lose confidence in your strength. The next two years are when Sun in Aries people must practice being lovers, not fighters.

Because this is a Saturn in Libra transit opposing your Sun, it is highly likely the loudest message you Mr./Ms. Aries are getting from Big Daddy Saturn is about the need to BALANCE your life. If you have been singularly focused on work or sports or self – and especially if you are single – it is important to examine your life and see in which area of life you are overcompensating for lack in another area(s) of life. Are you single and a workaholic or workaholic/sportsaholic who has no permanent partnership? If so, life will suddenly be quite lonely, no matter what you do to try to fill it with late nights at the office and sports games with friends. Being the Lone Ranger many no longer work well for you and

In short, yes, just as Big Daddy Saturn will be telling many people experiencing their Saturn Return at about age 29, he will be telling many Sun in Aries people it is time to commit to marriage!

Take it easy on yourself mentally, emotionally, and physically while working on self-improvement. Big Daddy Saturn will be proud of you and you path to being a stronger you and you will know it because the evidence in your general life, relationships and work will show it. The results of your changes will not always be immediate, but eventually they will be visible and produce solid, measureable, lasting rewards.

New Moon in Cancer -- June 22, 2009

New Moon in Cancer
Monday, June 22, 2009
9:35pm CET
1° Cancer 30’

One of my favorite times of the year is only a few days away -- the Summer Solstice! This is the New Moon of the year that is absolutely gorgeous and exuberant with LIFE. I am expecially thrilled when I am able to spend this time of year here in my home in Denmark. It is always nice in my California (USA) home, but it is even more beautiful here in Denmark. We are so far north that the days are already long -- with the Sun not setting until about 9:30pm at night and the remaining duskcontinuing until about 11:00pm. It is possible to frolick, walk, canoe, picnic, hang with friends, etc until......the next day! It is a perfect time for being out on the water canoeing and to camp in tents under the beautiful night sky! Oooh!

This New Moon marking the Summer Solstice is occurring at the crucial first degree of a sign so we are being asked to take some action! That particular action is to be kind to ourselves and protect ourselves (do not read that as over-protect!!) by being LOVING and KIND to ourselves. We are also to extend it to others. We are to do this actively by surrounding ourselves with loving people and situations.

This Sun/Moon conjunction in Cancer is in exact opposition to Pluto in Capricorn. If you know your natal chart, look to the two houses where these positions of Cancer and Capricorn are located and you will know how you can expect to be affected. The effects will be felt as early as Wednesday, June 17, and significantly more strongly from Friday, June 19. Venus in Taurus and Mars in Taurus are trine (a positive aspect) Saturn in Virgo so there will be an urge to express love and compassion in very practical ways. For example, in what ways can you reduce suffering and pain in your personal life or, your local, national or global sphere of influence?

Cancer and especially the Moon in Cancer represents the archetypal Mother and Saturn in Virgo represents the archetypal Father. Nurturance through taking responsibility is in the air.

Cancer is about mothering, smothering, nurturing, emotional security, and caregiving. All of these things occur within ourselves and in our relationships. This New Moon is a perfect time to find a path of healing for yourself and for you and another person to work on healing your relationship if it is in need of some TLC. Saturn in Virgo and Pluto in Capricorn will empower you to look at things realistically, find the places where you steered off-course and speak the truth about them The Sun/Moon in Cancer can help you do it with love.

It is possible to create relationships incorporating nurturing, respect, trustworthiness, personal responsibility, kindness, and independence with love,

This New Moon in Cancer at Summer Solstice is calling us all to make time for each other in our homes and families -- or to make time to create the home life and family life you desire if you do not have one. Clean out the junk in your home -- literally and figuratively.

Under this New Moon in Cancer you can begin releasing old defense mechanisms and self-protective behaviors. Do you have significant Cancer or Capricorn placements such as your Sun, Moon, Ascendant, Venus or Mars? Again, search your natal chart because these are areas where you will significantly feel this New Moon. Those with Sun, Moon and Ascendant are very likely to find there are some hidden defense mechanisms. Do you explode/rage/vent unfairly at people you want to have a close relationship with -- and then wonder why they keep pulling away from you? Ask yourself -- why are you being defensive and self-protective? The answer is within YOU -- it is not because the other person is doing something to you. Tale responsibility. If you want to have a reconciled and healthy relationship with someone who is pulling away from you -- then YOU need to address YOUR issues, stop trying to make other feel guilty and responsible for your happiness, stop being defensive and sarcastic when they do not meet your needs, and learn to be truly giving without trying to guilt people into loving you. These behaviors do more harm than good!

If you need help unearthing these realities, ask yourself these questions:

  1. Do you mother others, do things for them, as a way to hide your own feelings of inadequacy and powerlessness?

  2. Do you threaten to stop loving others or being giving towards them if they do not stay focused on you?

  3. Do you become cold, nasty and explosive (screaming at them and/or storming off in a huff) towards other people? Have yo done this more than once in a relationship with someone?

  4. Do you keep an iron grip on unhealthy relationships because you feel unworthy of anything better?

  5. Do you seek love as a way to fill an inner emptiness?

  6. Do you crave attention and get a thrill from the neediness of others?

  7. Do you tolerate abusive relationships? Do you stay with someone who hits you due to financial fear or fear or not finding anyone else for a relationship? Are you calling such such an abusive relationship "love" and making excuses for the abuser?

With Pluto in Capricorn figuring significantly in this New Moon Summer Solstice, the issue of emotional explosions and power plays will be prominent. If you are on the giving end of the explosions and attempts at being dominant and powerful over someone, STOP IT and apologize to the person for present and pasta abusive behaviors. Seek help elsewhere to change these feelings and actions if you need it. If you are on the receiving end of these behaviors, MOVE AWAY from the person to wisely protect yourself and then explain that if it does not stop, there can be no relationship.

Cancer and Capricorn are cardinal signs, meaning their energy expression is one of wanting to be in charge, to be first. Pluto is where we can experience intense jealousy and deep fears (our dark side). But we must learn to curb extreme expressions of this. With Pluto in Capricorn, it is challenging (although possible). Look to where you have the signs Cancer and Capricorn and the planet Pluto in your natal chart to get a clue about where you are acting out these behaviors. Saturn in Virgo asks you to also look at where it is transiting in your chart to provide clues as to where you need to de-clutter or clean our bad behaviors and look at life more realistically. It shows where you are being asked to take responsibility in life and how. For example, are you a Cancer Ascendant or Capricorn Ascendant and find that you express strong emotional outbursts at unwitting people to protect yourself emotionally instead of expressing calmly and very clearly what you would like? Are you expecting them to read your mind and stay energetically focused on you and your life and to feel that their needs and lives are inferior to your life? Are you unwilling to let someone else be in the spotlight and/or to admit someone is better than you at something?

Here is an even more provocative question: Do you try to have a relationship with demanding, possessive, controlling, power-hungry people like this who try to suppress your abilities and talents (make you inferior to them), and who use you for their explosive venting?

Lastly, I would say to you that this New Moon is one to work with your intuition. When you remove the self-protective and defensive behaviors, you can hear Spirit more clearly. Use the symbols of the Tarot (Moon, Queen of Cups, King of Cups), or the calming influence of a body of water (lake, ocean, pond), or meditation to connect with Spirit and hear the message.

Then, get out there and ACT! Do what is the right thing to being healing and nurturing to yourself and to your relationships. Then you will have true power, because real love, without manipulation, is POWERFUL.

To your success!!

Leaky Vessel - (Uranus, Neptune and Chiron in Aquarius 2009)

The symbol we know for Aquarius is that of a male pouring what appears to be water out of a large vessel. This is also the symbol we see in the Tarot on the Major Arcana card, The Star.

The traits we commonly associate with Aquarius are general friendliness and humanitarian disposition, honesty and loyalty, originality and inventiveness, independence and a strong intellectual, intractability and contrariness, perversity and stubbornness, an unpredictable nature, and  strong ability to be outwardly unemotional/aloof and detached.

Aquarius people are folks we normally experience as rather consistent in their behaviors (despite the unpredictability at time...which is usually evident when they are trying to shock or impress you).

But that will all change in 2009 with the gang pile of Uranus, Neptune and Chiron in this sign. Uranus, taking 7 years to transit the sign, is bringing unusual circumstances and people into the lives of Aquarians. Neptune, taking 14 years to transit the sign, is dissolving the world as Aquarian know it and the choice will be to see through to a higher spiritual plane or live in delusion and lies. Chiron, taking about seven years in Aquarius, is showing these people all the "old tapes" they have in their lives about individual vs group and how they want to be unique in this world, without letting ego run rampant.

The years 2009 and 2010 will not be easy for Aquarius folks who are not accustomed to doing hard work on themselves. Those who have previously gotten through on magnetic charm and superficial relationships with people will find it all coming to a crashing halt. Family, friend and work relationships simply will not move forward and there will be dramatic explosions until true, authentic, full openness, the openness promised by the flow from the vessel, will be required.

If it is not forthcoming, the vessel will leak. Lies, inauthentic connections, disingenuous behavior, selfishness -- it will leak out of that vessel in cracks that cannot be sealed. In plain language, they will be exposed.

This all also applies to with world in general. Humanitarian actions had better be true or they will get exposed as lies at a rate faster than anyone has seen in previous times. People who count on beautiful appearances to turn heads away from the ugliness of their behavior will find themselves in the spotlight with all their flaw exposed. It won't be pretty.

Let's see what happens, and if you want to make any personal notes about your experiences as an Aquarius person, or in being close to someone with a Sun, Moon, Saturn, Chiron or Ascendant in Aquarius, please do post!

A Planetary Recipe for Fear

For several months we have had a transiting opposition of Saturn in Virgo and Uranus in Pisces. While at first I thought this might bring some struggles with rigidity and taking fixed positions in government etc., what I have come to see is something even more insidious: FEAR.

As I work with clients, talk with friends and acquaintances and read or listen to the news what I hear is fear. People are terrified the entire world is about to come crashing down on their heads and they are acting badly because of the fear.

Saturn in Virgo is manifesting as a desire to have the details taken care of but a fear that the excess being revealed by Uranus in Pisces will destroy everything. While the excesses being revealed under Uranus in Pisces are horrendous (especially financial excesses) cracking down rigidly in fear and hoarding or not helping those who ask for your help -- and criticizing them -- is not the way to handle things well. Criticism is a response of fear. It is a fearful attempt to erect boundaries by drawing lines in the sand in order to stop feeling powerless.

Fear can destroy you by winding you up internally with mental obsessions that become physical pains. You cannot think straight so you cannot make good decisions and the bad decisions that result throw you into deeper fear.

Like former President Roosevelt once said, all we have to fear is fear itself. Fear is actually the biggest problem you have.

Let go of the fear!

Start intentionally breathing deeply and planting your feet on the ground. Eat as well as you can afford and regularly. Drink plenty of water. Stop listening to, watching and reading the news if it is upsetting to you. You can actually live your life without being caught up in a constant news stream of negativity. What god does it do you to hear over and over during the day that there was a mass killing, a bank failed and more houses are being foreclosed upon. Take my word -- you already know these things are happening in the world so stop obsessing about it. Read some positive books and watch positive TV shows or listen to positive radio programs. Find a good DVD like "The Secret" or "The Pink Panther and fill you mind with positive thoughts and relaxation. Take a 30 minutes walk once a day.

Where you place your focus is important. The power of focus is the key to success, peace and prosperity. Calm focus helps bring solutions and solutions is what is needed. Use the energy of Saturn in Virgo to make plans and the energy of Uranus in Pisces to break out of old inefficient patterns and do a new thing -- so you can get a new result.

Now is the time you can get your finances straight, learn to budget and get your spending under control, change habits, confess to the excesses (be they financial, sexual, emotional etc) and set things on a better path. Now is the time to make decisions instead of sitting on the fence and doing nothing -- because you now know that doing so only causes more problems and more fear. Once you make a decision to move forward instead of going backwards, you have a new and exciting beginning.

Isn't that what being an evolved human being is all about?!

Do a new thing today! Be a new creation!

Yes!!

Saturn in Virgo: Unearthing Dirty Wrongful Deeds and Digging Up the Details

This combination means lots of things done wrongfully are getting bound to be revealed and a call will be issued for them to be set right. Such is the case in Denmark, where in 2002 laws were passed (aimed at Muslims but officially laid out aainst everyone so as to avoid obvious discrimination) restricting immigration, including a law preventing Danes who marry non-Danes from living in their own country (!!!) unless they were both at least 24 years old AND could somehow prove they had closer ties to Denmark than to anywhere else…based on fluid criteria set by the person processing the family reunification application. Apparently this has always been in violation of EU law (freedom of movement) and the Danish immigration service was supposed to tell these couples that they only needed to live in another EU country for two weeks and work 11 hours before they cold return to live in Denmark. As a result there are 2000 or more married couples (with one Danish spouse) living in Sweden just across the water from Copenhagen.

This week they are beginning the return to their Danish homeland, now that it has been exposed that the immigration service in Denmark has been “forgetting” to tell these couples of this loophole for the last six (6) years. Of course this was not a problem when Danish Crown Prince Frederick married an Australian woman in 2004 and when Prince Joachim married a French woman this year.

Lies are still lies evrn if they are in the form of omitting, suppressing for "forgetting" to tell vital information!

Saturn in Virgo plays no games when it comes to doing the right thing. I suspect this is going to cause some damage to political parties (i.e. Danish People’s Party) who plotted and manipulated to keep this hidden these last six (6) years. Now there will be 4000+ people to vote against those politicians and their policies in the next election

Saturn Transits - Ya Gotta Have Jokes

One of the blessings of astrology is that it helps you mark what potentials are coming to you and where you are in life. It marks our aging.

Saturn transits in particular can be especially noteworthy and challenging because they take no prisoners. Saturn does what it is going to do and if you do not want to accept the lessons, take responsibility and mature, you can find yourself suffering with a deep depression. In reality, there is always some degree of depression, even if you are wise to what the Universe is asking of you and following the path.

That is because Saturn....The Parent, The Teacher, The Taskmaster...makes you realize some parts of you and your behavior must die so you can mature and be an even better you...and that happens with age.

Buying a motorcycle, a red sports car, or the latest skimpy fashions will not help you escape the lessons, as many people in their 40s find out. You need to dress appropriately (but not like a decrepit senior citizen!) and use that motorcycle or car money to pay for twice-annual sessions with a good astrologer and/or life coach and some time away retreating to get on track.

But most of all you need to have a sense of humor. When things are particularly challenging, stop and look at yourself. Are you 43 and wearing a shirt that exposes things better left undercover? Are you wearing a hairstyle that should have been left with the decade it came in with? Are you feeling terrified and dissatisfied riding that morotcycle or sports car but don't know why you are doing it? You thought you were "stylin" when really you are providing more laughs than The Comedy Shop.

Are you hanging out with people who are jsut too young for you at the moment. It cna be as siple as being 27 or 28 and approaching your first Saturn Return, and coming to the realization that 24 and 26 year olds are just in a different place. Last month a 28-year old Virgo man I know with Sun, Mercury, Venus and Saturn in Virgo commented to me as he was leaving a party we were at, that he was going home. He smiled wryly and said "I'm old".

I smiled, too, as I was standing outside enjoying the fresh air and not participating in the mostly early 20s crowd at the indoor party.

He looked tired and I realize that much of his tiredness came from having Saturn in Virgo transiting conjunct his Mercury and near his Sun for nearly the last year and that he is only a few months from an exact conjunction on his Sun and Venus this summer 2008 and his actual Saturn Return in Virgo in autumn 2008. His next 12 months until summer 2009 will be very challenging.

He knows nothing about astrology but he realizes internally it is time to grow up and put off childish behaviors. He is graduating from univeristy, will be needing to make a decision about work and the woman he is living with marriage?). And of course with Saturn knocking on him he is morephysically tired, even...he feels Saturn in his body, in his BONES.

Stop. Look in the mirror. Laugh at yourself. You have been making a fool of yourself. Have a good hearty laugh....and then let it go! Let go of the clothes, the cycle the car, the crazy relationship, the dissatisfying religious community etc. Put on something fashionable but comfortable, get a car you enjoy driving and are not embarassed in, and start doing the things that resonate within you as "right"...not what you think will make you fit in with some group of people to whom you have given too much importance. And again, laugh at yourself.

Oh! Take some pictures or have a friend or family member take some pictures of you in that midriff shirt, hotpants, gold chains, and Duran Duran hair on your motorcycle. You will have something to to make you smile when you need a lift.

Full Moon in Scorpio - May 20, 2008

Full Moon in Scorpio
May 20, 2008
4:11am CEDT
May 19, 2008 7:11pm PDT
29º Scorpio 27’

This Full Moon is a Blue Moon, the second one in Scorpio for the year. It is because of this Blue Moon that we are about to hear some rare truths!

Scorpio has as one of its archetypes The Snake. Snakes shed their old skin periodically, revealing a shiny new one. It is time to shed your old, dead skin and let the newness come to the surface.

This Full Moon occurs as part of a Grand Square between the South Node in Leo, Neptune in Aquarius and Sun/Venus in Taurus. In this configuration, Neptune in Aquarius is playing a strong role, calling for spiritual awakening and for the layers of deceit and delusion to be ripped off. It is time to reject false claims and people who say they want change or are bringing change but do nothing of the sort.

Saturn in Virgo is now direct and we are still being demanded to get our affairs in order and to work hard to do it. Such hard work and organization will bring healing to ourselves, others and the planet. Rules and regulations are actually NOT a bad thing. Structure is not a bad thing. Saturn is comfortable in Virgo because of this, as Saturn rules and like hard work and perseverance. It is time to take responsibility for your role in relationships with other human beings, projects at work, and your larger community.

With Jupiter in Capricorn (Capricorn is ruled by Saturn), we have the opportunity to see some positive and joyful fruits of our labor even now, rather than having to wait until the transit of Saturn in Virgo is done in mid June 2010.

The South node is karmic, revealing the pull from and to the past. It represents the old ideas that and habits that we must shed in order to grow. This Leo South Node is about clinging to old desires for selfish amounts of attention, instant gratification and over-emotionalism. Now is the time to head toward the Aquarius North Node and it is a call for cool, rational thinking, concern for humanity, and willingness to try new and innovative methods of handling everything from personal relationships to politics and the environment.

Scorpio has as one of its archetypes The Phoenix. In the mythological story this creatures burns to ashes but rises again. Burn off you old karma under this Full Moon. Literally light a candle and release the old ideas and thoughts, behaviors, relationships and ways of relating. Then step forth into new (and yes, scary!!) ways of being.

How much longer can you blame someone else for being lonely if you reject those who are interested in you out of fear and naïveté about relationships? It is time to learn intimacy and you only learn it by doing. How much longer will you complain about the environment but not join an organization that is doing something to make changes? How much longer can you take the position of powerless victim instead of releasing the past, standing in your strength and being yourself, no matter what others may think?

The Scorpio Moon urges you to bring the painful things to the surface and heal them once and for all. Take responsibility for growing spiritually, emotionally, in your relationship life, and with your family, friends and co-workers.

Reefer Madness

As the planet Saturn traverses through the constellation of Virgo health issues are coming up for intorduction and review. Rules and regulations (Saturn) about health (Virgo), especially the health of women and by associaiton their children, are in the news. Since September 2, 2007 we have heard about reviews of drugs and hormones used to treat menopausal women. Now the federal government in the USA has released a report in which is it proclaiming a message it sent in 1936 under the polar transit of Saturn in Pisces: marijuana among teens causes depression adn mental illness. It is

Reefer Madness!!!

It was financed by a church group, produced and released in late 1936 under Saturn in Pisces. The original titled was "Tell Your Children". Shortly thereafter in 1937, still under Saturn in Pisces it was retitled "Reefer Madness".

If you have never seen it, it is in the public domain and you and get a copy of the black and white film for about $1-$5. It showsteenagers getting involved in murder, becoming depressed, committing suicide, having (horrrors) pre-marital sex and getting raped and quickly becoming mentally ill....all because of marujuana.

There is one memorable scene where a girl who has smoked it become crazed while playing the piano...faster and faster and faster.

I used to show this film at church as an icebreaker to talking about drug use in our senior high group. It never fails to get laughs and start conversation.

A film called "Cocaine Madness" was produced shortly after this. These two and some other films on marijuana and drugs in general were mass produced by the US federal government at that time as propaganda in the drug war of that time.

Here is a link to the article about it:
Reefer Madness.

How much effect do you think this old/new claim of marijuana and mental illness will have?

New Moon in Taurus - May 5, 2008

New Moon in Taurus
15º Taurus 22’
May 5, 2008
2:18pm CEST

Family. Home. Community. Love, Good sex. Good food. Money. Comfortable surroundings. Responsibility. Order and Organization.

These are all in play with this lunation in Taurus on May 5. Venus-ruled Taurus governs our commitment to be steady providers for those we love and care about, such as our families and communities. This lunation has not just the Moon but Sun and Venus in Taurus and that calls us to connection with Mother Earth. There is also a grand trine between Pluto in Capricorn, Venus in Taurus, and Saturn in Virgo (which has just returned to forward/direct motion on May 2) make it feel natural that we are bringing the world of organics and environmentally-friendly ways of living into mainstream. Saturn in Virgo is all about organizing ourselves and taking responsibility to heal ourselves and then, using what we have learned, the larger community or world. Pluto in Capricorn is all about being realistic in our transforming of our relationships and the world, especially around issue of business and finances. Venus in Taurus gives us the incentive to plant some flowers and be gentle we go, making showing that order, organization, healing and responsibility can also be beautiful, especially as reflected in our relationships.

Chiron in Aquarius and Neptune in Aquarius are playing strong roles in this New Moon, squaring Taurus and asking us to be real about the wounds that keep us from getting new starts; the wounds that keep us from being radical, original and progressive; the wounds that separate us from the local and larger community. In order to grow and live healthily we must be open and honest about letting everyone express their opinion and offer their gifts and talents. We cannot oppress and suppress others in order to put ourselves first – even if we do it in covert ways and even if we try to present the façade of being humble behind-the-scenes persons. Our ego is seen!

What can you do from May 5 until the Full Moon on May 19? There are many things you can do to get real about your world, to deal with your finances, to enjoy the good things in life, and to transform your work life:

Taurus likes what is real. Do things in a real way. Neptune in Aquarius can bring out the higher spiritual instinct in you or you may struggle with delusions, drugs, too much daydreaming, denial of reality etc and thereby obscure reality and all the positive ways in which you could be contributing to the world. A major delusion we are now undergoing is one in which focusing on the negative, aspects of the world (the problems) instead of the positive (the solutions) is becoming commonplace.
Instead of contributing to the negativity of the world regarding relationships, politics, the environment and business, do something positive:
  1. join a peace rally
  2. support the candidate you like by passing out flyers or making phone calls
  3. find ways to compliment your partner and bring her/him a fresh plant or flowers
  4. spend more time wit your lover learning to be a better sexual partner
  5. volunteer to help people in debt create budgets and improve their finances.

In fact, with Saturn in Virgo in motion, it could be that you may responsibly serve someone well not only by helping them with their budgeting, but in other ways:

Case study: A few years ago, a pre-Saturn Return male client of mine had a woman friend he dated but to whom he never committed despite thinking she was pretty, sexy, caring and intelligent and enjoying her company and thier conversations. It was under the influence of a New Moon in Taurus that May, that he finally committed emotionally and sexually to this woman he cared for. He was tired of the haphazard world of dating and irregular one-night stands and realized he wanted some stability. However, he was still fearful of committing to another person and any responsibility that would entail. He decided to approach it both emotionally and "practically" by telling her he wanted to take their relationship further and asking her to move into his home, so that she would no longer need to spend money on rent and could use it instead to pay off her bills. She moved in with him a month later in June. She was able to pay off her debts and significantly add to her retirement savings (which impressed him), and to create the beautiful home she always wanted to create (which meant he benefited from her decorating, cooking and stable organization of their social life) and he became noticeably happier. During this time he opened up to her emotionally and allowed himself to admit his love for her and to be loved by her. Their living together thus became more than a benevolent financial arrangement. They became engaged nearly a year after she moved in and set a wedding date for the following summer. She was then able to contribute to a joint fund for their wedding and her secret wedding gift to him was to pay for a surprise side-trip during their honeymoon to a place she knew he always wanted to visit (which he really enjoyed!).

Speaking of finances, this New Moon in Taurus is a prime time to get your finances in order using a realistic plan. Examine how you meet your daily needs and look at the lifestyle you desire to live. Decide what makes you happy and what you can do to achieve it that is responsible. Make practical financial goals, commit to a budget (meaning live within your budget!) and create a savings/investment plan. Taurus calls for a moderate, even approach to finances so that when there are lean times, one is not affected and can still enjoy luxuries. Like the lesson of the fable of the ant and the grasshopper, be moderate and save during the abundant times and sit back and enjoy during the lean times.

Venusian Taurus is all about enjoyment and it a good thing to enjoy working at what you love – and it helps you fund the budget you have made! If you are not doing work you love, brush off the CV and apply for new jobs under this New Moon. You should hear a promising response by May 19. (But be cautious about starting any new job between May 26-June 19, the next Mercury Retrograde).

And finally, but not in the least, use this New Moon in Taurus to indulge in sensuality and sexuality as only Taurus can do! Take that luxurious bubble bath, spend an afternoon getting a manicure and pedicure, enjoy some loving, fun, and intense sex with your partner, eat a delicious meal, drink some good wine.

Full Moon in Scorpio - April 20, 2008

Full Moon in Scorpio
April 20, 2008
12:25pm CEDT
0º Scorpio 43’

This Full Moon is a powerful transformative lunation that demands honesty, facing of fears and deep change. What do you want in life? Now is the time to peel away the layers that obscure what you desire.

This Full Moon in Scorpio is the signal to see things as they truly are, not as you wish them to be.

Case study: Two years ago a male client of mine was living in a fantasy world, pining resentfully over a woman he liked, who I will call "Abigail". They had a fun and casual acquaintanceship in group social settings but never a romantic relationship. She moved away for work purposes and he spent several months pining over a fantasy of what they could have been in his mind. He deluded himself into thinking she had abandoned him and their great love relationship. All the while he ignored the women he was dating. He held tightly to the fantasy relationship he had in his mind of "Abigail". Because of this, he denied himself a relationship in which he could have a healthy and stable emotional and sexual expression. Fortunately, after nearly a year he finally awakened from his nightmare of denial by admitting there never was and never would be a relationship between him and "Abigail". He opened his eyes to a woman near him, got to know her and eventually married.

What can you do to take full advantage of this lunation from April 20 until the New Moon on May 5?
It is a time to release the past – people, situations and ways of behaving – and open yourself to a new level of compassion, love, possibilities, open-mindedness and spiritual growth.

It is a time for healing of deep wounds that have intense feelings attached to them, as they are only serving to hurt you and prevent you from moving forward into the future.

Chiron in Aquarius, Neptune in Aquarius and Uranus in Pisces make this a particularly spiritually invigorating New Moon in Scorpio for awakening from the death-like trance of victim and into the powerful stance of the healer (who is also ready and able to heal others who have suffered the same wounding).

Name your fear – and thereby destroy its power over you.

Share the joy and pain of self-disclosure with someone who has been telling you they want to know YOU for who you really are, in all your imperfections. Stop living in denial and lies (whether direct or through omission). Be honest and find yourself making a human connection that could last a lifetime.

Deal with trust issues – especially if there is a secret that you know has been keeping you and another individual from being as close as you could be. It may feel like destruction at first but after the destruction comes the time of healing and rebuilding in relationships. From there you can expect growth, unconditional love and openness that leads to a more solid relationship, one that could endure for eternity.

New Moon in Aries - April 6, 2008

New Moon in Aries
16º 44’ Aries
Saturday, April 5, 2008 - 8:55pm PDT/11:55pm EDT
Sunday April 6, 2008 - 7:55am CET

“I can do anything or be anything I want to be and I am going start NOW!”

This is Aries.

While January 1 is the start of the new calendar, the New Moon in Aries is the start of the new year for those of us who are conscious of the integration of the spiritual and material worlds. That means this weekend is the premiere opportunity to begin making 2008 the year you finally make changes for the better in your life.

Laying the groundwork for this lumination are Saturn in Virgo (organized responsibility), Pluto in Capricorn (transformation through perseverance), Mars in Cancer (caring initiatives) and Jupiter in Capricorn (expansive determination). With all these heavy cornerstones, it is challenging for Aries to simply charge forward. Normally even though fear is felt, Aries will “just do it” anyway, as it is the sign of courage. However, that same fear might me a bit magnified now and there may be some hesitancy in launching new projects.

Nevertheless, take the risk and start your new program new diet, new way of doing things. Try that new food, new game, new style, new sport, new relationship. Be adventuresome!

For example, if the New Moon is taking place in your 9th house – book that long distance trip or enroll in the local community college or university and return to school. Start moving to be the lawyer you always wanted to be. Begin to learn that foreign language. Reach out and make friends with someone from another culture. Join that philosophy or book group you have been thinking about and start sharing your ideas. Begin exploring some other religions or spiritualities that may appeal to you.

Aries says, “I can!” and you can!

Full Moon in Libra - March 21, 2008

Full Moon in Libra
1º 31’ Libra
Friday, March 21, 8:40pm CET

Libra, the sign that seeks partnership, balance and mutuality, is hosting the Full Moon opposite the Sun in dependent, uncooperative Aries on Friday March 21. How do you successfully blend the need for compromise in relationship with the burning urge for freedom and independence? It takes a lot of work!!!

For the next few days, even those Aries who manage to come across as pleasant Venusian Libras will find it challenging to sit still while the heat is turned up inside. Relational interactions will be challenging. Spring fever could bring out some definite urges to push for something physical or sexual on a personal level…..and things could get quite aggressive at work or in social settings. I know an Aquarius man planning to attend a party for three Aries women next week. He is walking into a fiery lionesses den. LOL. One of the Aries women has already been trying for two months to pique his interest and fire up his loins through soft romantic Libran moves (staring into his eyes with a smile while he talks and hanging on each word, leaning every so lightly on the side of him he talks, talking to no one else when he is in the room, giggling at all his comments); it will be interesting to see her throw off the Libran shell and make an aggressive Arian move on him under the compelling energy of her natal Sun in Aries! Of course it is always interesting to watch women try to compel airy detached, and many times naively oblivious Aquarius men into a relationship.

This annual Libra Full Moon provides and opportunity to soften the energies of the self-focused Aries Sun, but there will be pushes from elsewhere to continue on the independent path – whether that is positive or negative for you. This cardinal Grand Square will provoke us all to resolve our relational problems no matter what it takes. The most successful way to handle a Grand Square is to realize that ALL the energies (in this case that of the Sun, Moon, Mars and Pluto) have something to teach us about the issues in our lives.

Under this lunation, Pluto in Capricorn and Mars in Cancer are square to the Libra Sun/Aries Moon opposition, creating the cardinal Grand Square. The slightest disagreement could turn into a serious conflict. Try to stay above the fray by looking for the best in yourself, the best in ach person and what is best for the situation. Listen to the other person and have some compassion. As yourself if an extreme has been at work in your relationship with someone(s): Are your emotional needs being met to a large degree because you are ignoring the needs of others? Conversely, are your needs being ignored because you are too willing to push them aside to please another? Either scenario is not healthy. Come back into balance. As it is a Full Moon, balancing could mean the end of the relationship or a sweet conclusion to a negative style of relating and a new beginning on the horizon between you and the other person(s).

Some ways to approach this lunation are to embrace differences with love and compassion but without being overly attached to your own opinions; to remember that truth can be relative and be open to seeing the other side; to initiate compromise and be willing to go along with such; to use negotiation as the first and last response to conflict; to remember that if you denigrate, ignore, refuse to speak with, cause pain to, and knock down others you also annihilate yourself and become a harder person; to remember violence is not a viable solution for peace and understanding; and most of all to treat others with respect.

Examine your own heart – are you JEALOUS of the accomplishments of someone else so you have been spending energy and time to try to denigrate and exclude that person? Not only will it come back to you at some surprising and painful point, it is making you less human.

Under this Full Moon in Libra let us find a balance between the self and the group, for both are important to the smooth workings of the world.

Sun in Aries - 1st Day of Spring!

Sun in Aries
Wednesday, March 19, 10:49 pm PST;
Thursday, March 20, 1:49 am EST;
Thursday, March 20, 7:49 am CET (Europe)

Our astrological year starts on the Vernal Equinox or what we know as the First Day of Spring in the Northern hemisphere (autumn in the Falklands). The brilliant Sun as the Sun blazes into this empowering, independent, pioneering, and impulsive constellation, signaling it is time to set all those new ideas into motion. Initiative is the keyword here. It is a favorable to time get moving on your projects without worrying about needing to be extra patient. You and others are looking for a change after a long, cold winter. Some may complain because you are getting ahead of them or because they think you are being insensitive to them…but hey, they, too, have a choice to stagnate or bring some new energy into their life!

Watch out for folks being a bit on edge and itching for a fight…avoid them, smile and keep with your plans!

Mars opposite Pluto 2008

Mars in Cancer opposite Pluto in Capricorn
Friday, March 7, 2008, 10:01 am CET

Since February 29 you have likely felt frustrated, suppressed and quite irritable about the fact that there was little you could do to change the feeling or the circumstances causing those feelings. Mars in Cancer opposite Pluto in Cancer was set in motion on September 21 and now is making its third and final hit. This is truly a martial aspect, bringing threat of violence, talk of war, building up of defenses, fierceness, and bringing out of the darker sides of ourselves. This is an edgy confrontation between aggressive warrior Mars in self-protective Cancer and power-hungry Pluto in determined Capricorn. There will be fights on the playground. Do not be surprised if you encounter people who want to oppose you at work, school or at the market. Do not be surprised if YOU want to confront certain people or situations and clear out the confusion. Try to be goal-oriented without being insensitive to other people. This final aspect of Mars to Pluto, however, is an opportunity to finally clear the air about things that began in late September. With a New Moon in Pisces occurring the same day, it translates into an opportunity to eliminate those relationships, people and negative situations that have caused restriction, and lay a new foundation for launching your initiatives.

Venus conjunct Neptune in Aquarius 2008

Venus in Aquarius conjunct Neptune in Aquarius

Friday March 7, 1:02 am CET

We have been dealing with the cool, detached emotions and fears of Venus in Aquarius for almost a month. People have been putting up emotional walls, denying their true feelings and running from intimate relationships. Relationships have been breaking up, especially spurred on by the Full Moon lunar eclipse of February 21.This is the Uranian aspect of Aquarius. The breakdown, breakups and escapes from love have been prefaced by cool, controlled, and sometimes sharply critical rationality (to mask fear). At the same time we have all had the celestial support to stand back, detach, gather facts and information and reflect upon WHY we may want to get involved in a relationship with someone or WHAT we like about the relationship in which we are currently involved. This is the Saturnian aspect of Aquarius.

Now, as Venus is on its way out of the constellation of Aquarius, it encounters Neptune in Aquarius. Neptune in Aquarius can encourage compassion, spirituality, creativity and idealism. It can also promote deceit, lying, withholding of self and information. Brought together today, Venus and Neptune is a soft energy that dissolve the unnecessary walls and encourage people to work together to fulfill their common and separate dreams out of love for one another – being it a platonic love for another human being or a sexual/romantic love for a special someone.

How are YOU experiencing this aspect today? Please feel free to share!

Tears and Fears

Sun enters Pisces, Venus enters Aquarius

There is no shortage of celestial influence today as Mercury retrograde in Aquarius ends, the Sun enters Pisces and Venus begins its transit through Aquarius.

You computer and car will finally stop malfunctioning and giving you stress, however communication in your relationships may not become easy overnight.

This is because while Mercury retrograde’s strongest influence is done, the shadow is still there until early March AND the Sun in Pisces will increase the emotional sensitivity between you and your special someone AND Venus entering Aquarius signifies detachment and aloofness from emotion.

Let us review the strongest influence I see here, Venus in Aquarius. Independence, lots of space, freedom, individuality and separatenes -- these are what Venus in Aquarius seeks in a relationship. Situations that allow for these characteristics are the ones where relationships flourish for the native with this placement. As a transit, this can be challenging and it may feel as though your partner is leaving you -- or you may want to leave your partner.

Do you know someone who has Venus in Aquarius? There is a significant sexuality issue here. This planet-in-sign indicates that in a prior lifetime the person experienced some sort of sexual abuse or misuse, most likely forcibly locked into sexual unions against their free will. This was very traumatic. Now in this lifetime, there may still be some trauma around sexual issues (for example the person may experience rape or molestation at an early age). They may have trouble forming pleasurable sexual relationships as an adult. They may have trouble comfortably touching someone of the opposite sex (if their orientation is heterosexual) or may feel awkward and anxious about being touched, hugged or kissed. They are likely to be sexual late bloomers.

Aquarius is a sign that seeks truth, humanitarianism, independence and is very progressive in its approach to life. Yet, it is also imbued with a hidden sense of caution because it is co-ruled by Saturn. For Venus in Aquarius people there is a need to seek attention for being unique - being The Rebel. This is the polarity of Leo creeping into the Aquarius personality. Aquarius likes to shake up the mix! They like to be known for speaking existential "truths". They can also be rather voyeuristic about other's sexual and romantic lives, wanting to openly discuss the details of the other person's life because it is a "radical" approach to such an intimate issue (and because talking about sex and relationships covertly excites them by stimulating their mind)....but detaching and hiding when it comes to revealing their own private sexual and romantic details!

Warning!! A relationship with a person who has Venus in Aquarius may not feel like much of a relationship at all. There is a fear of the emotions and detachment is common. Detachment may be good (looking at things from another perspective) or bad (running from feelings and BSing intellectually about emotions). These people also typically do not form close personal romantic bonds until later in life than most, if they form them at all. Examples of this are feminist Gloria Steinem, who married for the first time at age 60, and talk show host Oprah Winfrey. Winfrey (who did experience childhood rape and became a teenage mother), is in her 50s and has had a long-term relationship with partner Steadman Graham, but states traditional marriage is not something she wants in this lifetime.

Some other notable people with Venus in Aquarius include: Simone de Beauvoir, Umberto Eco, Carlos Castaneda, Erica Jong, Edward Albee, Ellen DeGeneres

Sun in Pisces
This annual occurrence brings a strong influence of emotions and sentimentality to life. Intuition is especially heightened and decisions are made that include consideration of feelings. Pisces is also a creative sign.

In terms of relationships, expect that your partner or you may be more aware of emotions than in recent times. Feelings will be taken into consideration and will be voiced in conversations. There is a desire to merge, to be at one, to be in synchronicity with the partner; conversely it hurts when it does not happen.

Double Dolphins in Electrified Water
So how will these two influences work together? The Double Dolphins will be swimming in the waves of electrified waves. You could find yourself with the urge to merge and just as you get close your partner shocks you with an electric bolt of detachment of aloofness that leaves you stunned and feeling alone. Or you could be the one who is unable to cope with the emotions in the relationship and you put up an icy wall of electricity that shocks the other person away from you. Maybe you even throw some lightning bolts out of fear (disguised as cool *rational* anger or being "too busy" to relate to/talk to the partner) if you get frightened enough of your or your partner's emotions.

The best possible scenario? That you and your partner both use the next three weeks until March 10 to articulate the emotional issues in your relationship, come to a compromise about any problems and learn to respect that there are times for emotions and times for rationality in an intimate relationship. The key is BALANCE.

Full Moon Lunar Eclipse: February 20/21, 2008

This year has been a very active one astronomically, with significant movements: Saturn in Virgo retrograde, Mars in Gemini retrograde and then stationing direct, Chiron and Venus in Aquarius, a New Moon solar eclipse in he constellation of Leo and now, a Full Moon total lunar eclipse in the constellation of Virgo is occurring on February 20/21, 2008.

February 21, 2008 1º53’Virgo 4:27 am CEST

At exactly 4:27 am CET the Sun will be moving opposite the Moon through the constellation of Pisces 1º53’. The Earth will align exactly between the Moon in Virgo and Sun in Pisces, blocking the light of the Sun to the Moon. For astrological purposes, because it is so close to the next degree, it is considered to be at 2º Virgo. Those with planets between 28º Leo through 5º Virgo will be most affected, as will the life areas covered by those houses in a person’s natal chart.
To calculate the times when it will occur for you, here are some time zones: 10:27 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) on the east coast of the Americas, 7:27 p.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST) on the west coast, and 03:27 Universal Time (UT) and 4:27 am Central European Time (Copenhagen, Brussels).

When Full Moons occur we are more emotional and during a lunar eclipse it is magnified. We become more creative and artistic; our spirituality and intuition are also heightened and we are more emotionally connected to people and situations. We can feel quite stressed because of this change in emotional environment. However if we do not resist what is causing us to “feel deeper” we will open new doors of possibilities and opportunities. The stress can feel like a crisis – and in Chinese philosophy, a crisis is a combination of chaos and opportunity. What began at the New Moon now comes to fruition at the Full Moon.

You can expect that an old phase of your life or some part of it is coming to and end. It is likely that something new began within five days of the solar eclipse on February 7 (so that would be somewhere between February 2 and February 12). However, because eclipses are so strong, there can be significant events as late as two weeks after the eclipse. Where the solar eclipse fell in your chart will receive more attention until the total solar eclipse in Leo on August 1, 2008. That solar eclipse on February 7 is the primary area in which you will need to focus; this lunar eclipse on February 21 will be the secondary area of chaos/opportunity and will give you insight as to what hidden or repressed areas you must release into the open in order to grow in the direction required by the solar eclipse. This lunar eclipse will highlight events where it falls in your chart until the partial lunar eclipse in Aquarius on August 16, 2008.

For example, if the solar eclipse on February 7, 2008 fell in your 1st house, you are being called to balance individuality and independence and the self with partnership, marriage, and/or business relationships – to become balanced in your dealings with and consideration/inclusion of the “other”. Now, this lunar eclipse will highlight what you are really valuing and what you expect from a partner on a very intimate level, either sexually, financially, of psychologically – or any combination of the three areas.
For many single people with a Leo Ascendant, it was a time of coming into close contact with a genuine marriage or life partner and the lunar eclipse in Virgo occurs in the 2nd house and will highlight anything that must be recognized, acknowledged, changed, transformed, and/or healed in order for the marriage/partnership to take place. There could be a change from icy singlehood with financial struggles and sexual wounds or celibacy to a deeply caring, warm and very healing sexual relationship with a partner who balances out your finances and who becomes your marriage partner. It could even be that YOU are healing for that partner in those same ways!
Saturn in Virgo retrograde is in close orb to this eclipse, giving it an energy that means there will be an air of caution, common sense, slowness of movement and decision. Taking responsibility and doing things in a responsible manner will be a strong part of whatever happens during this eclipse.

Mercury retrograde in Aquarius is ending just before this eclipse, so there will be a chance to communicate in a more articulate fashion and matters which seemed confusing or stagnant in the three weeks previous will now begin to be clarified. People with a Sun in Aquarius, in particular, may find they can finally say what has been on their minds/what they want concerning relationships, work and finances. Now is the time when Sun Aquarius people may find they want to initiate healing by opening up to a partner or potential partner by getting in touch with and voicing the feelings they have been detaching from in the past months.

A special note: for some people, the solar eclipse heralded the removal of a male from your life; similarly, this lunar eclipse may herald the removal of a female from your life, or conversely, if you are female, if may herald your removal from a male's life (remember, you may want to remove yourself from some male's life if you now realize it is your best path). You may want to lay low, keep things emotionally light, or take the week off and have some space in order to avoid unecessary arguments.
I do know some people who take a few days of vacation alone or intentionally avoid email, the tephone and generally avoid people when eclipses come that touch significant points in their charts.
Keep your eyes open for the lessons – and write me about any changes which occurred for your on or about February 7, and coming up, on or about February 21.

Solar Eclipse: February 7, 2008

One cycle is ending and another beginning, with a strong humanitarian flavor this month. That is because we are experiencing a solar eclipse at the beginning of the month.

February 7, 2008 17°44`Aquarius 3:56am EST

A solar eclipse is when the Moon is exactly between the Sun and the Earth and blocks the light of the Sun from the Earth. Solar eclipses are very powerful New Moons and are the harbingers of important endings and beginnings. The effects of a solar eclipse are equal in years to the number of minutes the eclipse lasts. The immediate visible effects of the eclipse can be seen in intervals of six months for a period of two years. You get an opportunity to break an old pattern and see a metamorphosis of your life that brings growth and healing.

The New Moon begins at 17°44 February 7, 2008 and the solar eclipse occurs at 3:56 am EST at 17°56 degrees of Aquarius. Peole with Sun signs in the fixed signs (Aquarius, Leo, Taurus, Scorpio) will be most strongly affected, as will those with Aquarius and Leo Ascendants. Those with Leo Ascendants will especially see a difference in their partnerships marriage and business relationships and dealings.

With Mercury retrograde, Chiron and Neptune also in Aquarius, those people who are Water-Bearers are experiencing a time when it is crucial to heal the body, spirit and mind. The opportunities to do this are now presenting themselves. If nothing has alreayd begun to occur or does not occur within three (3) days of the eclipse, they will within six months. Now is the time to work on healing the sexual wounds that have prevented full and healthy sexual expression and left you feeling wounded about your body and about sharing your body with another person; now is the time to release the thoughts that are hindering you from contributing all you can to the world in terms of your brilliant progressive mind; now is the time to open your spirit to the forms of spiritual expression from which you have been hiding...keep your mind open to science but also open up to astrology, intuition and other religions which have mystified you.

Change is the keyword when eclipses occur. One primary way eclipses affect humankind is in relationships. It is very common that the relationship which breaks on an eclipse or within a week of it, is permanently broken. It means it is time to release. However, the relationship that comes together and begin at this time will stand strongly for the future. It may all leave you feeling like your life is out of control, but really it is not; it is that you resisted change in the previous months and finally it has been forced upon you.

The house where you have Aquarius will indicate that areas of life that will be most affected for you. The one exception is if you are an Aquarius – as it will have an overall affect on you. Here is a brief synopsis of how it will affect the various houses:

Saturn in Virgo: World's Cheapest Car

Saturn in Virgo is taking us down the road of time and in an economical form of transportation. Now we have an announcement of the world's most inexpensive automobile in a story from the New York Times:

By ANAND GIRIDHARADAS

MUMBAI, India — What does it take to build the world’s cheapest car?
For
Tata Motors of India, which will introduce its ultra-cheap car on Thursday, the better question was, what could it take out?

The company has kept its new vehicle under wraps, but interviews with suppliers and others involved in its construction reveal some of its cost-cutting engineering secrets — including a hollowed out steering-wheel shaft, a trunk with space for a briefcase and a rear-mounted engine not much more powerful than a high-end riding mower.

The upside is a car expected to retail for as little as the equivalent of $2,500, or about the price of the optional DVD player on the
Lexus LX 470 sport utility vehicle.

The downside is a car that would most likely fail emission and safety standards on any Western road, and, perhaps, in India in a few years, when the country imposes tougher environmental standards.

Read the whole story here:

The $2,500 Car
