Neptune Rx....more Bush Administration secrey unveiled

Neptune continues to review and unveil facades in its retrograde journey........

From Washington D.C. today, I sadly read more from the Washington Post: more details about US abuse of prisoners and non-disclosure of documents. The secrecy and conspiracy behavior continues:

"THE LATEST FBI documents detailing allegations of prisoner abuse at Guantanamo Bay are, like previous FBI documents, highly disturbing. They contain prisoners' descriptions of beatings, strippings and abuse of the Koran. Detainees variously claim the Muslim holy book has been thrown on the floor, thrown against a wall and, yes, flushed in a toilet. There are also references to these kinds of events having led to an 'altercation' between detainees and guards.

But the status of these documents is nearly as disturbing as their content. They can be found, again like previous FBI documents, only on the Web site of the American Civil Liberties Union, which obtained them by suing the government under the Freedom of Information Act. They did not, in other words, appear in the context of a government or military investigation. After the ACLU released the documents Wednesday, Pentagon spokesman Lawrence T. Di Rita implied that such an investigation would be unnecessary, since these 'fantastic charges about our guys doing something willfully heinous to a Koran for the purposes of rattling detainees are not credible on their face.' But then, on Thursday, the commander of the Guantanamo facility, Brig. Gen. Jay W. Hood, acknowledged that incidents 'broadly defined as mishandling of a Koran' had in fact taken place. Brig. Gen. Hood made this announcement following an investigation that he said had begun 12 days earlier -- which points to the deeper problem."

George Bush & Darth Vader: Trying to Sell Crazy

For many many years Amnesty International, a well-respected organiztion has received positive support from the USA in its honest reporting of human rights abuses. Now George Bush is upset that the group has painfully and objectively called the U.S.'s systematic torture of prisoners "absurd" and claims that the report is made by those who hate America.

So here we are, with a president like Darth Vader of the Star War's movie series, who declares that "if you are not with me you are the enemy/against me".

It is clear these two "characters" are not living in the real world. LOL.

Since he entered the White House George Bush has let us know he stopped off at Crazytown on the way there and now he is trying to get rid of his supplies...trying to sell crazy to the American people.

Well millions of us are not buying; go sell crazy somewhere else.

You want to talk absurd? As I sit drinking my morning tea I find many absurdities and I need not look far.

It is absurd that:

In the last several weeks have been repeated and cumulative revelations of the abuses of George Bush and his administration.

While Saturn was in Gemini he took away freedoms enjoyed by Americans on transportation.

Since Chiron has been in Capricorn he has done nothing real to punish those businessmen who stole billion of corporate pension funds and bankrupted companies, leaving the middle class and poor suffering greatly and without pensions.

The Supreme Court has overturned the conviction of the Arthur Andersen accounting firm for destroying Enron Corp.-related documents before the energy giant's collapse.

However he eagerly called the middle class and poor "cheater and abusers" and took away/limited their ability to file bankruptcy and recover financially so he could please corporate credit card companies. Keep in mind that credit companies now basically are loansharks with usury practices such as raising your interest rate in the midst of a loan! Oh and raising your interst rate because you were late paying ANOTHER creditor.

While Saturn has been in Capricorn he has been the most secretive president of all time, doing whatever he determines will muffle the citizens of the USA and elevate him to star status, and giving the country labels fit for Nazi Germany, such as "Homeland".

He started a war to give himself a name and the people of the USA are suffering for it, from soldiers who are dying over non-existent WMDs to people who are becoming increasingly more poor while the rich become elite.

Overseeing and authorizing a system of torture and then trying to claim that because current and former terrified and tortured victims all lied about what was done to them. Um George Bush wake up! Do you honestly think we believe you?

Like Anakin Skywalker, George W. Bush has absurdly and dangerously gone to the dark side.....and the world, espcially the United States of America, is the worse for it. American citizens who love America see it clearly.

Crazy is not selling well. People would rather hold onto reality.

Neptune Rx: FBI Lifts Veil on Quran Abuse Allegations

So why did Newsweek run scared after printing the truth?? There was no need to retract or apologize. It was all true.

Neptune, the panet which governs, among other things, illusions, delusions, deceit and covert activity is moving in retrograde motion through the sign of Aquarius (The Humanitarian) and it appears that the abuse of human beings is being exposed: The U.S. government's/military's systematic abuse of people it is imprisoning is being reviewed, revisited and revealed...their deceptive and secretive veils lifted.

According to the Associated Press today: http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20050526/ap_on_re_us/guantanamo_quran

Terror suspects at the Guantanamo Bay prison told U.S. interrogators as early as April 2002, just three months after the first detainees arrived, that military guards abused them and desecrated the Quran, declassified FBI records say.

"Their behavior is bad," one detainee is quoted as saying of his guards during an interrogation by an FBI special agent on July 22, 2002. "About five months ago the guards beat the detainees. They flushed a Quran in the toilet."

Lawrence Di Rita, chief spokesman for Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld, said Wednesday that U.S. military officials at Guantanamo Bay had recently found a separate record of the same allegation by the same detainee, and he was re-interviewed on May 14. "He did not corroborate his own allegation," Di Rita said.

Asked why he felt certain that this detainee did not affirm his allegation out of fear of retaliation, Di Rita said, "It's a judgment call, and I trust the judgment of the commanders more than I trust the judgment of al-Qaida."

The statements about guards disrespecting the Quran echo public allegations made many months later by some detainees and their lawyers after the prisoners' release from Guantanamo Bay in Cuba. The once-secret FBI documents show a consistency to the allegations and are the first indication that Justice and Defense department officials were aware in early 2002 that detainees were accusing their guards of mistreating the Quran.

One told an interrogator in March 2003 that guards had repeatedly mishandled the Quran. This detainee asked why the United States, as a supporter of freedom of religion, was using the Muslim holy book as a weapon. Still another said in October 2002 that he and other detainees had been "beaten, spit upon and treated worse than a dog."

Separately on Wednesday, Amnesty International urged the United States to shut down the prison, calling it "the gulag of our time." White House spokesman Scott McClellan said that the human rights group's complaints were "unsupported by the facts" and that allegations of mistreatment were being investigated.

One wonders where McClellan is getting his information. It is almost like that Iraqi military official who lept reporting the most brilliantly positive news every day no matter that it was a dramatic and well-known departure from reality. McClellan we know you are not telling the truth. We know you are not telling REALITY. Even the FBI admits it.

You see the universe works divinely, and astrology is part of that divine work. Neptune has five months in retrograde. I wonder what other filth swept under the rug will be revealed by the end of October 2005?

Newsweek IS Still Right and Oops! The U.S.A. Does It (Abuse/Violations) Again

Yesterday Neptune, the planet which governs (among other things) lies, delusions, deceptions, cover-ups, veils and those infamous rose-colored glasses, stationed and went retrograde. It has been slowing down for the last few weeks in preparation for this retrograde part of its journey. Now that which was covered up and lied about can come to light because it is going to be reviewed. Things done in the dark are going to come to light. But also, there will be some more thing which come to light when the bubble bursts at Neptune’s direct station on October 26, 2005. Neptune is in Aquarius, a sign of technology, electronic media, the Internet, humanitarianism, and in some ways, the search for Truth.

Saturn the Teacher is calling for what is right as it transits through the end of Cancer. Saturn is not strong in the sign of Cancer; it is in astrology referred to as being in detriment or “fall”. Thus instead of being strong, confident and steadfast, the global theme of Saturn is focused on insecurity and the perceived need to defend oneself against anything that it feels could be a threat. Under Saturn in Cancer, where it has been since 2003, we have seen such gross protectionism, isolationism and abuse of the freedom of others in the name of security that it is astounding and deeply sad. Under Cancer President George W. Bush (born during the trauma of World War II), the U.S.A.’s windows and doors were nailed shut and a fort built around it. However, it has not made many U.S. citizens fearful of the world; rather it is like an alcoholic (even if “dry”) and abusive father locking the family inside the house, boarding up the windows and creating new and increasingly more cruel daily rues to live by. He tells them it is for their own good and assures them that although he can come and go freely, they may not. Any disagreement brings the very real threat of punishment, gagging and being thrown in the dark closet where no one can hear you. How dare you disbelieve the “reality” of The Homeland.

Cancer governs among other things, the mother and the child, home and insecurity (visualize the insecure Crab hiding in its shell to protect itself) and during this time we have seen the United States of America be turned into a “Homeland”. How many times people have said it echoes Nazi Germany’s “The Fatherland”. Well now “The Motherland” has been established by a man riddled with fear.

Frighteningly, Saturn has transited Cancer in World War I, World War II, The Vietnam War and now The Iraq War.

Who suffers the most and has to clean up after these wars initiated by fearful men? Women and children. They are the ones who deal with the rising fuel prices or forced fuel consumption, food rations and high-priced food, lack of employment, lack of a spouse or parent because of the war and a collective psychic pain that sets up a deep river of insecurity.

Now today, with the publishing of photographs of Saddam Hussein in his jail cell in his underwear George W. Bush claims it may be a violation of the Geneva Convention. He pulled the U.S.A. out of the Geneva Convention. He flipped it and the United Nations the bird and told it that the U.S.A. will not abide by it under his Bush Doctrine. Under that guidance, the U.S. has been torturing prisoners in Abu Ghraib, Guantanamo Bay and using a policy of “rendition” to send people to other countries to be tortured so the U.S.A. can look like it has its hands clean.

Pontius Pilate washed his hands and he was still covered in the blood of Jesus of Nazareth.

As is pointed out in the New Yorker article, George Bush once said “torture is never acceptable, nor do we hand over people to countries that do torture.” A lie. A sad lie.

Well anyway…walking through this today I reflected on the fact that the Newsweek story about the Koran/Quran being flushed down the toilet was TRUE and reported many times over for the last few years. I hope Newsweek never backs down to the Bush Administration or any administration again. I hope it will be the free press it is supposed to be. As I said earlier, Newsweek cannot be FCCed. The government is free to FCC itself, but the press must continue reporting…..it is one of the checks and balances of power.

In that vein, here are some references where the Koran/Quran toilet-flushing and other abuses were reported.

(Here is an excerpt in which the toilet incident was reported in the Washington Post in a 2003 interview with a former detainee from Afghanistan: )

"Ehsannullah, 29, said American soldiers who initially questioned him in Kandahar before shipping him to Guantanamo hit him and taunted him by dumping the Koran in a toilet. ‘It was a very bad situation for us,’ said Ehsannullah, who comes from the home region of the Taliban leader, Mohammad Omar. ‘We cried so much and shouted, Please do not do that to the Holy Koran.’ (Marc Kaufman and April Witt, "Out of Legal Limbo, Some Tell of Mistreatment," Washington Post, Mar. 26, 2003.)

And today it is revealed the Red Cross warned the U.S. about the U.S. military abusing the Koran/Quran to try to torture prisoners:

http://www.cnn.com/2005/US/05/19/icrc.quran/

Is the next tactic going to be to call the Red Cross a liar, demand a retraction and that it go on a global tour announcing what a morally upright country the U.S.A. is??

A group of friends and I were having lunch recently. One brought her young daughter with her and she sat next to me. We were discussing Bush. She pulled on my arm and started to talk. I think that children are such a blessing to this world, their insights need to be heard and their voices encouraged. I turned to her to hear what she had to say. Her big blue watery eyes were as big as saucers and she said, “He’s a bad man. He’s not a nice man. He hurts.” I thought I would break into tears. I hugged her and said “I know honey. I know.” This is the world into which this child has entered.

Saturn moves into Leo this summer (July 16, 2005). That means it finishes its run through George Bush’s 12th house (the significant ending of a cycle) and then arrives on his Ascendant and into his first house (the ego, identity). Will George be forced by circumstances to tone it down for the final three years of his regime under Saturn in Leo? Will his ego get slapped down in the spotlight? What will he do when that happens? I do not think it will be pretty. Saturn will be in Virgo in the last few months of his reign.

I’ll think about that later…..I need to find some fresh air.

Saturn in Cancer: U.S. State Secretly Sterilized Thousands of Women

While the State Department is trying to convince the world that the United States of America is morally upright yet another of it's repugnamt and immoral abuses comes to light under Saturn in Cancer. (Saturn = limitations, restrictions, the demand to mature; Cancer = women, women's issues, reproduction). ABC News is reporting the revelation, which comes out during a time when a Cancerian president is attempting to restrict women's bodily freedom and healthcare: Over 65,000 were secretly sterilized in the past few decades.

Secret Sterilization in the U.S.A.

ABC News' Keith Garvin originally reported this story for "World News Tonight" on April 23, 2005.

Saturn in Cancer: Newsweek Can't be FCCed

Visiting Irazq again, which we do much these days. It seems some more scapegoating is going on. As much as some would prefer to try to scapegoat Newsweek magazine and sweep the truth under the rug, the Newsweek story was NOT new. It is being acknowledged by The Washington Post, USA Today and several media organizations that this was not the first report from MANY sources:

The Newsweek report was not the first public airing of allegations about U.S. personnel at Guantanamo Bay desecrating a Quran. In August and October 2004 there were news reports based on a lawsuit and a written report by British citizens who had been released from the prison in Cuba. They claimed abuse by U.S. guards, including throwing their Qurans into the toilet.

In January, Kristine Huskey, a lawyer representing Kuwaitis detained at Guantanamo, said they claimed to have been abused and in one case a detainee watched a guard throw a Quran into a toilet.
~USA Today

Thus, while the Bush Administration would like to try to manipulate this into an opportunity to claim that the U.S.A.'s invading and occupying military is a religiously open/tolerant and morally pristine/upright, it is unable to do so.

It is simply clear that Newsweek can't be FCCed by the Bush Administration and that bothers them.

The Abusive Face of Democracy and Freedom in Iraq

Has democracy and freedom really arrived in Iraq with its occupation by USA troops? The sad answer is no.......and the evidence is there for all to see. Derrick Jackson's Op-Ed highlights just what is so wrong in Losing hearts and minds.

It is absurd to try to counter this kind of abuse with junk email photographs of soldiers petting stray kittens.

Air Force Removes Chaplain From Post

Questions, hot questions in Denver, Colorado today.....So what happens when you tell the truth about the religious intolerance and abuse being perpetrated by fundamentalist Christians in the Air Force? You get terminated.

It is time for the mainline Protestants and the Roman Catholics and the other religions/spiritualities such as Buddhism, to step up and send more chaplains into the military so that there is better representation of all faiths and beliefs.

Otherwise we are going to continue getting this blind faith, aggressive, dangerous and abusive combination of military violence backed by extremist Christian religion. The U.S.A. is not served well by producing this kind of dangerous person from its military academies. Despite recent movies, the religious crusades of medieval times (even if now cloaked in the garb of "democracy and freedom") are not something to be lauded or promoted.

Saturn in Cancer: Kenyan Women Take Risks with Backstreet Abortions

With an eye cast to the African continent, in Kenya, once again we see the effects of trying to legislate women's control over their bodies and restricitng their right do make their own choices.

Kenyan Women Take Risks with Backstreet Abortions

The Bush Administration won't give funding to reproductive clinics/services in other countries that offer information about or perform abortions - inflicting its patriarchal dogmatic religious views on them. The Roman catholic Church is busy doing the same.

But does either entity really care that women are therefore dying becaues of their policies and lack of care?

One also wonders how much they care in light of it being poor African women who are dying.
